SOCAPA recently announced the winners of the Acting, Dance and Photography Scholarship Contest Awards.

Dance Award: Silvia Nox Nocentini (Italy)

Photography Award: Audrey Gatewood (MD, USA)
Filmmaking Award: To be announced by March 1!

WIN A SOCAPA SCHOLARSHIP!
SOCAPA is offering four two-week tuition scholarships, one for each of our programs in Filmmaking, Acting, Dance & Photography, to the winner of the contests below. To be eligible, you must be both a "Friend" of SOCAPA Arts on Facebook and be a"Fan" of the School of Creative & Performing Art's Facebook page.

STEP THREE: Submit the program-specific entry below: Deadline for all contest submissions is FEBRUARY 1, 2012!!!

  • Filmmakers: Submit your short film to the Green Mountain Film Festival's High School Filmmakers Showcase. The "best of festival prize" is a two-week tuition scholarship to SOCAPA Filmmaking! More details . . .

  • Actors: Upload a video (30 seconds to 4 minutes in length) of you performing to Facebook or YouTube and send the link to the SOCAPA Summer Arts' Facebook account. That's all. The video can be a taped monologue, a selection of scenes from films - anything you want.We'll notify you via Facebook if you win!

  • Dancers: Upload a video (30 seconds to 2 minutes in length) of you dancing (preferably solo) to Facebook or YouTube and send the link to the SOCAPA Summer Arts' Facebook account above. That's all. We'll notify you via Facebook if you win!

  • Photographers: Create a Facebook Photo Album in your account and title it "Photos for SOCAPA." Upload 6-10 images to this album and send our Facebook account a notification at SOCAPA Summer Arts That's all. We'll notify you via Facebook if you win!

 

DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS FEBRUARY 1, 2012

Finalists will be notified February 15th via Facebook.
Finalists will be asked to submit a copy of a recent report card and statement about their interest in attending SOCAPA.
Scholarship winners will be notified by March 1, 2012!
