2011 ACADEMY AWARD WINNING FACULTY MEMBER SLATED TO TEACH AGAIN THIS SUMMER!
SOCAPA Filmmaking Instructor, Luke Matheny, will be back on campus to teach again this summer.. His short film "God of Love," a comedy about a lounge-singing darts champion who receives a package of love-inducing darts, recently won an Oscar for Best Short Film at the 2011 Academy Awards.

SOCAPA will be holding an Open House Information Session followed by a tour of our Brooklyn Campus on Saturday, April 23rd, at 2pm. SOCAPA's Director of Summer Programs will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about our Summer High School Arts Workshops & Camps. In addition, the group will have the opportunity to take a tour of the Othmer residence hall, the NYU-Poly cafeteria and some of the classrooms/studios at the Kumble Center for the Performing Arts.
