AIRPORT PICK-UP & DROP-OFF:
Our staff does airport transfers on the first and last days of each session. Airports we service are JFK, LGA, and Newark for our Manhattan Campus in New York, JFK & LGA for our Brooklyn Campus in New York, LAX and Burbank (BUR) in Los Angeles, and Burlington International (BTV) for Vermont.
We will greet you at the exit to baggage claim when you arrive and drop you at your airline’s check-in counter when you leave; unfortunately, we cannot escort you beyond security. There is a nominal fee per airport transfer of $25 for BTV for the Burlington Campus and $55 for JFK, LGA, LAX, BUR, and BTV for the St. Johnsbury Campus, and $85 for Newark (EWR) to Manhattan campus only.
We do not service Newark Airport for our Brooklyn Campus. SOCAPA Brooklyn families flying into Newark airport are responsible for arranging their own travel to campus. We have used Dial 7 in the past. Please let us know if you need any assistance in making these arrangements.
There is an additional fee of $150 roundtrip if your child is registered as an "Unaccompanied Minor" with the airline. If your child is flying as an "Unaccompanied Minor" with the airline, it requires one of our staff to get a pass to go through security and pick your child up at the gate. On the departure end, it requires a staff member to obtain a pass and stay with your child until he boards and then stay at the gate until the plane has taken off. Please be sure to contact our main office if you plan to sign up for this service as it requires much coordination on our end. Please note that we are able to provide the name of the staff member who will meet your child at the gate only the Friday before program start date.

If you are flying into one of our locations and you would like SOCAPA to provide your airport transfer, please try to arrive between 11:00am - 3pm on the first Sunday of the program. Please try to schedule departure between 11am - 3pm on the final Saturday. Flight times outside this window may incur additional transfer fees and/or may require transfer by a third party car service or taxi.
