Teens Get a Jump Start on College this Summer!
High school students in the three-week Filmmaking, Acting for Film and Dance Programs may opt to take the course for three college credits issued by the Department of Theatre, Film & Dance at Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. This program is similar to an Advanced Placement* or SCALE Program for High School students whereby after the credit is received, it can be transferred to most colleges and universities upon acceptance (please check with the Transfer Office of your school of choice to obtain their Credit Transfer Guidelines). There is no additional work required but there is an additional fee of $115 per credit payable to Long Island University. Upon successful completion of the course, Long Island University will mail you an official college transcript (by early October), which lists the course information and your grade (pass/fail).
