SOCAPA's picks for the ten best teen and youth film festivals in the USA to get your films seen and you noticed. Each of these festivals showcase short films by High School students, Youth or Teen Filmmakers. Submission deadlines are subject to change from one year to the next, be sure to check out the submission dates and submit early to save on submission fees. Many festivals allow students to submit work for free if you do so early!
Festival is held in October and features films made by youth filmmakers.
For filmmakers ages 24 and under. High School teams can also participate in the 48-Hour Film Off in early October. These films are all screened as part of the festival lineup!
BIFF's Teen Short Film Competition for ages 12-18.

Please note that you must attend school in LA County to be eligible for this Festival. But if you are, it's totally worth it!
