Online Virtual Camp

M-F 9:30-3p or 11-4:30p EST
Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced

While the writing room may look different... the collaborative and engaging roundtable experience is the same. From writing roundtables, to collaborative online writing projects, to peer-led critiques, and professional instruction from top level instructors, SOCAPA's Screenwriting Online continues to emphasize the importance of building relationships with other young artists and facilitating creative collaboration.

Students will have the option of developing two short screenplays (4-8 pages each), one longer screenplay (10-12 pages), or the first act of a feature-length screenplay. The two week screenwriting intensive provides students with the time, structure, feedback, and theory to hone their writing skills with a particular focus on story and character development. Students spend time workshopping and critiquing their own and each others's work, as well as analyzing films to discover what works and what doesn't.

Capacity: 12
Experience: Beginner to Advanced
Length: Two Week
