Residence Halls:

SOCAPA New York City is centered around two neighboring campuses, one in downtown Manhattan at our Pace University campus in the South Street Seaport area, and the other in downtown Brooklyn at New York University’s Metrotech Campus. The campuses are connected by the Brooklyn Bridge, each is at its respective foot of the bridge, and students should expect to have classes, meetings, meals at either or.

Arrival Day Check-in

  • Check-in is on the First Floor
  • Parents should plan to drop their child off between 1-4pm on the opening Sunday of the session. The final Saturday of the program is a travel day and students should be picked up between 8 - 10am.
  • If you plan to make alternative arrival or departure arrangements such as bus, train, or otherwise, please contact our office before making those arrangements.

By Plane

We service three airports in and around New York City, JFK, Laguardia, and Newark. Upon arrival we will greet you at the baggage claim area for your flight wearing a SOCAPA t-shirt and holding a sign with your name, and travel back to campus with you from the airport. At the end of your program, we will help you check-in at your airline's check-in counter; unfortunately we cannot escort you beyond security unless you are an unaccompanied minor as designated by the airline.

Please note that you must fill out the online Travel Form at least 2 WEEKS PRIOR to the start of the program.

There is a fee of $65 per airport transfer to JFK and LGA, and $89 for EWR. There is an additional fee of $150 for R/T unaccompanied minor service.



If you have made air arrangements outside our scheduled dates, times, or airports we service, you will need to arrange for transportation from the airport to the residence hall.
