My daughter attended SOCAPA Manhattan for three weeks last summer, and it was truly an amazing experience for her. She gained so much independence, autonomy, confidence, and valuable acting experience in such a short amount of time. She also made wonderful new friends, which made the experience even more special. It was wonderful to see her grow both personally and creatively.
The staff is absolutely amazing, supportive, and encouraging, and the entire experience was so well organized. The accommodations were perfect, and I felt that she was in a great environment to learn, grow, and explore her passion for acting.
SOCAPA gave her the opportunity to step outside her comfort zone, meet new people, develop her skills, and experience a little more independence in a safe and enriching setting. We are so grateful for the memories she made, the friendships she formed, and everything she took away from those three weeks.
I would highly recommend SOCAPA Manhattan to any family whose child is interested in acting and wants an experience that encourages both artistic growth and personal development. It was truly a worthwhile experience, and I’m so glad we chose SOCAPA.

SOCAPA was recommended to us by the college counselor at our daughter's prep school. We were searching for dance programs that would be good for her and helpful with the college application process. SOCAPA exceeded our expectations. The dance program is rigorous and joyful. There are opportunities explore different dance styles with various coaches/instructors. Being in a school with various art disciplines gave our daughter the opportunity to work with photography students to build both her and their portfolios. Several of the original dance pieces the group created were video taped. This can all be used for college applications. We live right near the NYC campus, so our daughter did not stay in a dorm. The students in the dorm have a greater opportunity to form deeper bonds since they have a lot of activities together - both during the day and after hours. I only wish the day students were invited to join the residential students for after class activities - even if we had to pay for the special events separately. That being said, this summer will be our third summer at SOCAPA. The training is good. The staff is supportive and the program reliably attracts nice and talented students.
My 15-year-old son participated in the two-week filmmaking program last summer and enjoyed it so much that he is returning this year for three weeks! He had the time of his life— deepening his passion for filmmaking and has truly found his people. The entire experience exceeded our expectations! Writing this review because when research SOCAPA last year it felt difficult to find recent reviews and/or reviews that answered questions that I was most concerned about. We selected the VT dance program and due to lower enrollments Summer 2025, that program was unable to run and were offered the NYC program. My only concern with the NYC program was safety with a participant on the younger side. It was extremely well-organized, and kids were always required to be in groups. It is also very rigorous with dance all day and activities every night. The staff was great, and the collaboration across disciplines (for example, pairing photo students with dancers for photo shoot) was really cool. The teachers were supportive and highly skilled. The final output in the last day performance was impressive. Not every aspect of the program was a solid fit for our dancer; however, they were important information points for her as she thinks about future camp and college opportunities. She would also say it was a great experience, and plans to reapply to camp this summer.
When we reached out with requests or modifications with the camp, communication was excellent and adjustments were made as feasible within the bounds of the program. Heading in, my biggest concerns were how the camp was administered and safety, especially in NYC with a younger camper-- and finished out the program with no concerns in that regard. There were video samples of performance work; and the instruction and guidance to the dancers met and exceeded expectations in that aspect of the program.
I am speechless. My daughter went to NYC a few years ago for photography - we knew nothing about the program. She excelled. Life changing. Then, this past summer my 15 year old son went to the music program in LA and he transformed. I had no idea what to expect! The friends, the teachers (he was over the moon about) - the program. When I went to pick him up, I stayed in my car for an hour while he and his camp mates all cried, hugged and laughed and cried again. First thing he said when he got in the car - Mom, next year we are all going back for 3 weeks SIGN ME UP NOW! And guess what? It's Nov and I just put his application in.
I'd been looking for a long time for a spot for my kid to study acting when I FINALLY found SOCAPA's 2-week residential program in LA. She attended the summer before her sophomore year, and it's one of her favorite things she's ever done. She liked the people who run SOCAPA, the kids who attended, the classes she took, the performance opportunities, and the fun stuff the kids did when not in acting class or performing in short films for student filmmakers/student directors. During down time, the music students played piano while the other kids sang along, they took walks on campus, they took trips off campus for coffee and meals. On her birthday, my daughter toured Universal Studios in LA because her bday fell during her week at SOCAPA. (Staff also sang to her and made her a cool sign at her dorm.) She's def returning for the 3-week advanced acting session. There's a comfort level in the acting classes that gives each student room to be themselves and to feel safe doing so. SOCAPA is an artistic kid's paradise. We highly recommend. There was no "type" at SOCAPA - just a bunch of artists doing art together.
These have been the best two weeks of my life. I’m posting this on my babysitting account bc it’s where I do all my reviews so I don’t get the algorithm btw. The people here aren’t spoiled preppy brats they’re the best friends I have ever made so quickly if not ever. I made two movies I’m so proud of. My dorm and roommates were fantastic, the food was great, the res life activities were great, the staff were so welcoming and funny and I made more inside jokes than ever. As a kid without many friends who gets paper balls thrown over her head in class to the trash can I have never had a better experience with a group of people. Thanks to all the staff who made it amazing and I hope I can go back next summer for the advanced program. I’ll miss all my friends so much. You might see this review and think “it can’t be that great that’s just circumstance” but EVERYONE this session had this amazing of a time. Believe me, you’ll have an amazing time. If I could rate it 6 stars I would.
My daughter did the acting camp at SOCAPA in 2024 and she loves it so much she is going back again! She loved being around like minded peers in a safe and creative environment. She forged beautiful friendships that will last a lifetime and had a blast overall. Best summer camp experience ever!!!!
My daughter attended summer camp for the first time at SOCAPA NYC last summer and she had the time of her life. At first, she lacked some confidence, but the instructors were energetic and so passionate about teaching that she immediately felt supported and started loving the experience. She was so excited about everything she learned and she made new friends. Her passion for dance is stronger than ever and she will be back next summer for sure! We highly recommend this amazing experience!
I had no desire to ever sign up for a summer camp until I attended SOCAPA and the experience I had subverted all my expections and changed my life for the better. I'm looking forward to another summer with this amazing school.
Last year my son attended SOCAPA for the first time. He was a senior in high school and had not ever done anything like this before. He has a love for photography and film and so he was brave and signed up for the two-week photography program.
When I picked him up at the airport, I could see right away in his eyes that he was changed. Changed in an amazing way. He had one of the most profound experiences of his life! For days and weeks he would talk about it. The friends he made, the places he got to see, and the life lessons he learned. It was one of the best decisions he had ever made for himself.
I am proud of him and thankful for SOCAPA. He will be returning again this year!
I didn't take this process lightly when seeking a great opportunity for my child summer of 2024. I came across Socapa during a search and it was possibly one of the best decisions we made! My child attended the acting camp in NYC and it was pretty life changing. The camp location was incredible and her experiences were fantastic! The staff were communicative and wonderful at creating a safe and fun space. My child is headed back summer 2025 to explore more creative fun and we would recommend this experience for anyone looking for ways to explore their creative side - great group of kids and staff alike!
When my 16 y-o daughter decided that she’d work with cinema - as I, a screenwriter, do - we thought it’d be a good idea for her to have a taste of how it is actually done. We’d researched a lot of options before finding out about Socapa. Their program and curriculum seemed amazing, and the staff was really helpful and nice with all our queries and doubts. I expected she’d have a good experience on their Core Filmmaking 3 week camp in NY. I was wrong: it was much, much better. I could attest that not only by her enthusiasm and happiness while there and when she came back, but also by the unbelievable amount of knowledge she managed to grasp with the help of the instructors and the collaboration of her peers - as all students work in each other movies, in different capacities, and also have the chance to create and direct their own shorts. Writing, cinematography, editing, directing, she’s been exposed to a great deal of core principles and, above all, hands-on experience. Also, the school really goes all out to make all students feel welcome and safe and happy there - even for an international student then in her first experience staying away from her country by her own. She’s coming back this year for the Advanced program, now in VT, and I’m positive that, after such an amazing and complete experience of what’s really like to make movies - magic, fascinating and extremely demanding work - she’s gonna be up to the task of building her future telling her stories on screens, big and small. I couldn’t recommend Socapa’s programs more. If I could, this would be a six-out-of-five star review.
My experience at SOCAPA was extremely transformative. I went there in 2023 and learned so much from the teachers and my colleagues. The classes and shooting days not only clarified doubts but also introduced us to new techniques and perspectives, offering essential hands-on practice. During the program, I gained experience with different editing platforms and learned to operate sound equipment effectively. This combination of theory and practice enhanced my technical skills and increased my desire to become a filmmaker. SOCAPA was more than just a learning experience; it was a journey where I met incredible people that I’ll take for the rest of my life and also gained so much knowledge. The passion shared by everyone there made it unforgettable.
I literally found SOCAPA by Googling “summer camp for kids who don’t like camp.” It turned out to be a great fit for our art-oriented son who was very interested in film and wanted to explore filmmaking. He started with the virtual screenwriting program and enjoyed that enough to try the 3-week basic filmmaking summer program in LA. He had a great experience! He learned a lot about filmmaking and confirmed his desire to pursue it in college, met some new friends with interests similar to his, and loved the campus and LA scene. We were glad to find a summer experience for him that he could truly enjoy. We also love that it gave him an opportunity to “try out” his intended college program and experience a slice of college life prior to applying to colleges.

There are not enough good things I can say about my daughter’s experience at the 2 week Socapa LA acting camp. She arrived timid and nervous and left camp larger than life with a newfound excitement for her craft and deep friendships. The shorts created while there are something we both treasure. I love witnessing her growth and stretching beyond her comfort zones. This experience was so positive that she has begged me to return this coming summer.
Our son attended SOCAPA in VT in 2023. He left for camp with an interest in film and returned with focus and passion. His time at SOCAPA has shaped his life and helped to solidify his self-awareness as a budding artist. Since his time at camp, he has taken the online Screenwriting Course and continued to hone his talent. We are so grateful for SOCAPA and the organization’s ability to allow individuals to grow in skill without sacrificing what makes them unique.
My son has completed 2 years of the 2-week film making camp in Burlington, VT and will be attending the 3-week advanced film in Manhattan this coming summer. It is very well organized and has made him more passionate about digital film, significantly advanced his skills, and helped him socially through a summer camp experience that is right up his alley. We had one minor glitch last summer and my husband and I were blown away at how quickly and effectively SOCAPA administration handled it. Fantastic camp!
Excellent program that my daughter really enjoyed... she did the 3 week basic photography. There weren't as many photography kids - a lot of the kids did film. But it was very well organized, and she really liked being able to travel around for different photo shoots during the day with the group (and explore Vermont a bit) and also the ability to go to the small and easy-to-navigate downtown area to hang out with her friends in the evenings/weekends. The balance of organized activities and freedom to explore in a safe area was excellent, and she really enjoyed all of the people. She got a lot of good photography exposure in addition to just enjoying the whole experience.
My daughter had the most wonderful time at the California SOCAPA location! She learned so many valuable skills, and just as importantly she gained lifelong friends. The experience she had out West was so fantastic that she plans to expand her horizons even more by attending the SOCAPA New York campus this summer. I would highly recommend SOCAPA to any parent whose child is interested in film!
Our daughter has attended SOCAPA acting camp for the past two summers in Vermont. The first year was such an amazing experience for her she couldn’t wait to return the second summer. My son had an amazing experience in the Songwriting program at SOCAPA NYC in 2022! It exceeded his and our (already high) expectations. The teachers/counselors were mature, creative and inspiring; the other campers were friendly, artistic and mutually supportive; the leisure activities were exciting and well-supervised. He was thrilled to create, record and perform his original song live, and found it very cool to collaborate with SOCAPA Film campers to make his video. He will be returning to SOCAPA! My daughter attended this amazing film camp in NYC last summer and absolutely loved it! At first, she was apprehensive about being away for 3 weeks, considering she had never been away from home for longer than 2 nights, but her concerns quickly subsided. By the end, she wasn't ready to come home and would have stayed longer. The environment was very collaborative, and the students' films were highly creative. I enthusiastically recommend this camp to any budding writer or filmmaker.

Our daughter went to her first SOCAPA camp in NYC as a film student in the summer of 2022 as a fifteen year old, and she's headed back again in 2023 because it was such an AMAZING experience!!!! We live in Utah and don't have a lot of opportunities for teens and the film scene and this really gave her not only a great experience with film, but also new friends and memories for a lifetime. We were so pleased with how it was organized, her security while staying in NYC, and that she loved it so much she wants to go back - thank you, SOCAPA!!!
SOCAPA (Summer 2021 Core Acting VT) was a fantastic experience for our daughter. She loved everything about this camp (except for the food). The acting for film experience she received was excellent, very realistic and intensive. My daughter developed friendships that she continues to maintain. The Champlain College campus environment was safe, modern and allowed the students to foster independence. I highly recommend SOCAPA Vermont.
We were looking for a summer camp for my daughter who loves acting and found Socapa. I was a little nervous at first sending her out of state for three weeks at only 13. I’m so happy we sent her it was the best three weeks of her life!!!! They had everything there she needed and we were able to visit. She had an amazing roommate who she now talks to daily! She made friends from around the world they honestly became a little family. They were taken on outings while they were there. Socapa definitely exceeded my expectations!!! I can’t believe what my daughter learnt in 3 weeks!!!! They had a showcase at the end and I was blown away by the work these kids did it was truly amazing!!! The staff was absolutely amazing and they treated the kids like their own!! I wish we would have found this place sooner!!! My daughter can’t wait to go back this summer and we look forward to all the new experience and life time friends she will make!! Sending her was by far the best decision we’ve ever made!!!! I went to the VT 3 week program for acting. My mom found SOCAPA through facebook and after thinking about it for a little bit my parents let me go! When I got there I was a little nervous but then I met my roommate and now my best friend. Through out the three weeks I met many people from all over the world and we all became almost like a little family. I have SOCAPA to thank because if I hadn’t gone to SOCAPA I wouldn’t have met some of my closest friends. During these three weeks we got to be in many different short films and I was even lucky enough to be in a music video! Every day the staff made wonderful meals for us and we had so many different options to pick from. On the weekends our R/A’s would bring us places like the arcade, swimming, and even the trampoline park! On one of the nights we even did karaoke! Through out the week on some of the nights after filming or class we were able to go to church street to eat dinner and go out shopping! The R/A’s treated us like their family and they were so kind! When we weren’t filming or out on adventures we were in class! In our classes we learned so many different skills and techniques! We had an amazing teacher that got us ready for every show case! We would make live scenes to preform at the show cases and it was so much fun!!! Overall this was an experience that I will never forget and i’m so excited to go back for SOCAPA 2022!!! I made so many friends and memories! Thank you SOCAPA! I can’t wait to make more memories!
SOCAPA was my daughter's dream- she just couldn't believe she was going to go! And then the world shut down with COVID. She was devastated. But then SOCAPA regrouped and offered an online version. While it obviously wasn't the same as in person, she still got so much out of the experience and made friends from literally around the world. She is going back this year and can't wait. I highly recommend this camp- it fosters such a love of learning and growing their creative abilities.

As a parent of a Sophomore who attended SOCAPA’s dance program at the Manhattan campus last summer and will hopefully attend again this summer, I highly recommend the camp. The different art departments and even campuses attend each other’s pre-showcase performances and the groups attend various New York City performances and activities together, making for a very fun, friendly, supportive environment. The variety of evening events is amazing, including things like multiple art venues, a Broadway show, Coney Island, and other local fun spots. And the end of camp performances which include all the art forms are well done and showcase the hard work put in by the students during their days at camp.
My 13 year old with a passion for photography but very little formal experience and no training went to SOCAPA Vermont for the 2-week Digital AND DARKROOM camp last year. Fantastic!!! They had a great time, especially learning the ways of the elders, in a real darkroom. Sounds like everyone teaching at Socapa and running the thing really love what they are doing, and have a breadth and a depth of knowledge that is impressive. Working artists when they are not there. This camp experience was at the top of our budget range but COMPLETELY WORTH IT. The facilities sounded really good, and the instructors seemed very adept at engaging a mixed-skill level group without anyone feeling bored or rushed. The photos and prints at the end of the summer experience were ample document of 2 weeks well-spent. They work the kids pretty hard, and also have constructive free time. My kid made a number of friends I think they may have for life---good value teens from a variety of places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...in fact, going back again this year. Only one shortfall: there is no program for moms :(
My son Evan attended the one week Core Acting Camp in Manhattan last summer, and it was quite literally life-changing. Growing up in rural Nebraska, and involved in community and school theater since an early age, Evan wanted an experience to stretch to new levels and found it in SOCAPA. He learned so much, had great new experiences and made friends that he has continued to be in touch with all of this year. As a parent, I had natural trepidations about his experience so far away from home and the folks at SOCAPA were great about putting me in touch with parents and participants from previous years to find out more about the program and allay any concerns that I had. Staff was unfailingly responsive and helpful before, during, and after this experience. Evan plans to return this summer for a longer and more advanced camp experience.
SOCAPA has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. I learned so much and had such a great time. I have grown so much as a dancer and I owe so much to SOCAPA. I recommend SOCAPA for all types of performers. A+!!!
I'm going to keep this short and sweet . SOCAPA is a life changing experience that will make you a better artist, along side a better person . I went to SOCAPA 3 times and each time was better than the last .The connections I made in the acting world were crucial in my development as an actor and the friends I made will be with me for life . SOCAPA's versitle curriculum will prepare you for the real world and will also make you never want to leave the program. Even though the experience I gained as an actor was incredible, the other social aspect SOCAPA offers is truly what made me fall in love. From seeing Broadway shows, to adventuring, and even doing bonding activities with your roommates made the experience different and better than any other summer program. The counselors and teachers are phenomenal, and the classes are fun and interesting. It truly prepares you for the real world and I will value SOCAPA until the day I die. I have nothing but love for SOCAPA, and it is a must if you are an artist looking to expirience the world of your craft and become a better human in general.
Last year, our son, a high schooler, attended SOCAPA film program in New York. He came back enchanted, having written directed and edited three short movies. One per week. Each with a different and smart cinematographic prompt. Teachers were caring and competent. Our son made many friends, not only within the film department but also with the acting one and others. We highly recommend SOCAPA. Our son will return this year on the film program level 2.
I have made some of my greatest friends at this camp. Not only are the teachers absolutely incredible, but everyone is overwhelmingly supportive. Everyone here wants the best for you, and sees potential in every last person. Last summer, I learned more about acting than I have in my entire life. Maddy, my instructor, became one of my best friends. I looked up to her like she was my older, wiser, more knowledgable sister. Not only was she insanely talented, but also very down to earth. She helped me find myself, which allowed me to tap into emotions that I didn't even know I possessed. I strongly recommend this summer camp. The Vermont environment is quite peaceful and relaxing, which allowed me the ability to be able to concentrate on the art I was studying. Especially in the advanced programs, everyone is serious about their work. If you are looking for a summer camp in which you can further a craft that you are truly passionate about, this is the place for you. Both of my sons have attended filmmaking camps there for more than one summer. They returned on their own initiative. The program is organized, well-run, professional, and responsive. The staff and instructors were nurturing, encouraging, talented and inspiring. We have attended more than one showcase and been highly impressed by the caliber of the students' work and their obvious enthusiasm and delight at being together as part of the camp experience. Bonds were definitely formed among them. My sons continue to be in touch with their SOCAPA friends. My oldest son was inspired to apply to film school as a result of his SOCAPA experience. A SOCAPA instructor wrote him a recommendation, and he will be attending a university film school in the fall! I would definitely recommend sending your children to this camp.
My name is Téha, and I am French. Last year, I attempted the three weeks core acting at Socapa on the Manhattan campus. It was a very interesting experience. Because during these three weeks, we didn't just did some acting technics, but we also shot in different shorts films (that the filmmakers made), and went to two musicals at Broadway. I made many friends from different countries that has the same passion than me, and that was really good because we were helping each other to improves our acting. The class was very various: we did a lot's of improvisation, and some fifteen minutes act scene on a theme that we had to respect. Our mentor also gave us some exercises to do to warm us up before starting acting. I recommend Socapa three weeks core acting to every person that is interested in acting because I'm convinced that you will love it and that you will maybe discover a new passion.
I had just graduated from my middle school and my mom signed me up for a one week film camp in California because I am super into that stuff. I showed up and was immediately met with open arms and love from the entire staff and student body. The lessons were engaging and absolutely fascinating. I was able to transform a passion for movies and making videos into understanding the process of filmmaking in a very real way. But beyond what I learned, and I learned a hell of a lot, I made friends that I still talk to after two years. After the camp ended, we would group Skype all the time. The bonds and relationships you will make at this camp are astonishing and everlasting. The next year I did the two week camp and met who I would consider some of the best friends I have ever had. I am going to SOCAPA this summer for three weeks this time and I am beyond excited for what’s to come. This place is amazing, please trust me.

Our 16 yr old daughter Katherine attended the 2-week Core Acting program in LA. She had heard about SOCAPA from a friend who had attended the dance camp in NY the year prior. Not only did she have a great experience at camp she met people from all around the world. The camp broadened her acting skills and gave her a better understanding of how to work in front of a camera as well as with a production team. Not to mention the great excursions into LA. She enjoyed the experience so much she is hoping to return in 2019 for the 3 week course.
We can't thank SOCAPA enough for the amazing experiences our son has had at camp. At 14, he did a one week filmmaking boot-camp in Vermont. He loved it so much that at 15, he did a two-week filmmaking camp at the Brooklyn campus. This year, he will attend a longer and more advanced camp and is already looking forward to summer. He has made many friends who he keeps in touch with from across the US and around the world. Meeting so many interesting and talented kids and teachers who share his passion has been a highlight for him. He has learned more than we could have hoped for and continues to work on his craft at home. My daughter has traveled for Socapa's dance sessions for the past 3 years from Istanbul, Turkey and she cant wait for her her final 4th summer next year before she heads for college scholar programs. Socapa New York has offered her experience beyond the dance training. She has met beautiful friends, worked with extremely qualified instructors. The professional setting and dance shoots has been a great exposure which she cannot get anywhere else. Also, the online portfolio will be very handy when it comes to college aplications. I as a mother would not think twice when recommending.
Had the best summer, learning loads about photography in just one week at the Brooklyn campus. I had amazing teachers that supported all students in every possible way. I met so many amazing people and had an unforgettable summer. The SOCAPA program provided a wonderful experience for my stepson. Although he enrolled at the last minute, SOCAPA extended itself in making accommodations for him. He was able to join two classes, screenwriting and filmmaking, and also participate as an actor in three of the projects. I was impressed by the seriousness and quality of the instruction, the support to the students that the instructors gave, and the diversity of the program itself, which included acting, filmmaking, and photography.
Different students participated in different parts of the program, but the mix made the whole greater than the parts. The fact that there were young people from all over the US as well as from abroad added another very positive dimension to the program. There was great camaraderie, and my stepson made many friends from all over the world. He is still in touch with many of them.
Although he was a day student, I saw enough through his eyes to know that the students in the residential program were well taken care of in terms of safety — while giving them enough freedom to have fun.

For anyone who has an interest in the arts, SOCAPA has the perfect program for you! Taking classes and learning more about photography really taught me who I am as a photographer and how to be even better. The teachers are all amazingly supportive and provide all the tools for you to be the best you can and think creatively. Making friends here is an extraordinary experience because everyone thats here are creative arts students from all over the world who help to build each other up and create a place to thrive. I will never regret my experience at SOCAPA, and there is nothing that can compare to it. If you are on the edge about whether or not to go, know that the greatest summer of your life is waiting for you here.
Honestly such an incredible experience. I've gone to SOCAPA for about 5 years and it is one of the most welcoming places. It's a place were you can get away from any problems you have and just be yourself. I've made some of my best friends at this camp and still keep in touch with most of them today. I've learned an extreme amount at this camp. I found my style at this camp. I've been given opportunity at this camp. I found my dream at this camp. Anytime someone asks me about any good film programs I send them in the direction of SOCAPA because I honestly can't think of a bad experience, from the 5 years that I have, had at the camp. This past summer I interned at the camp and even as an intern I managed to make a film and help other students on theirs. This camp taught me about film festivals and how to get my name out there. All my success in the film industry I owe to SOCAPA and all the wonderful people that come out from it. If you are considering if SOCAPA is worth it? Take my word for it, IT IS.
SOCAPA NYC is wonderful. My daughter loved every minute of her three-week core acting program. She learned so much and got to work with such talented, motivated, creative teachers and students in such a supportive atmosphere. She now has friends from all over the country and the world, and can't wait to come back next summer!
SOCAPA was the best summer dance intensive my daughter has ever attended, and it provided the necessary artist’s environment she needed as she explores and makes big life decisions as she enters her senior year in high school. The videos of solo and group dances will be amazing for the college applications! As far as the actual dancing went, she was pushed to her best limits and they helped her explore out of her comfort zone in such a way that she was able to find a different side of herself as a dancer. Thank you for an amazing summer dance experience, SOCAPA!
I was at the NYU campus in Brooklyn this summer and I absolutely loved everything about being at this camp. I was in the photography program- the teachers are awesome. The atmosphere that you're in is great and you get to meet the best people. I do recommend this camp to anyone who's interested and is serious about being in the arts.
Last summer, I had one of the best experiences of my life when I attended SOCAPA for six weeks (three in the filmmaking program and three in the advanced filmmaking program). It truly was an amazing summer and an unforgettable learning experience. I was interested in film for a while, but I had no real experience before I went to SOCAPA, and the program made me realize that film is something I am truly passionate about and that I want to continue doing for the rest of my life. I was nervous but excited about going away from Colombia to New York for six whole weeks, but I never felt uncomfortable while in the program because everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The teachers and TAs were constantly helping you improve and giving you feedback on your work, and they made learning fun and enriching. I also got to meet students from all over the world that are interested in film the way I am, and this created an excellent environment. I want to thank SOCAPA for an amazing, and definitely the most productive, summer of my life!

My daughter age 14 last summer really enjoyed her music program and time in Burlington . She come after 2 weeks more independent and confident . She is returning this summer for a 3 week session . And also enjoyed making new friends!
My 15 year old daughter Martina joined Socapa’s Acting for film summer camp in Los Angeles last July and she absolutely loved it. She learned, laughed, made new friends. She loved the program and her coaches, the team was fantastic! It was a long way from home since we live in South America but it was a very good decision. Already planning to join another camp in 2026!
My experience at SOCAPA was the best experience any film or acting student could ask for! Apart from excelling at teaching, SOCAPA had amazing outer activities that made my holiday hard-to-forget. The environment was friendly, and the staff was nice and caring. English isn't my first language; therefore, I find it really hard to adapt. However, SOCAPA made me feel comfortable, as if I were at home. It's hard to think of any flaws the camp had and, if I were to think of it, I think I can remember everything: from the filming-fun to the tiny inside-jokes I made with my peers.
It is so good. From friends to the teachers to the events I have made so many good memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. SOCAPA, I can’t thank you enough for enriching my life and bringing me closer to a group of people who share the same passion and interests as I do and that allow me to express myself freely without fearing of others’ opinions.
SOCAPA VT was *brilliant* - the staff were super friendly, really responsive, thoughtful and helpful. Our daughter had a fantastic time doing the screenwriting program - she learned so much and made some wonderful friends. Her main screen writing teacher was super inspiring and has been something of a mentor for her since. We could not recommend it more highly!
SOCAPA is a superb program for young creatives who are eager to hone their mediums into future occupations in film, dance, acting, photography, music, or screenwriting. As a past participant in their film program, I can honestly say that I felt immersed and supported throughout my experience as a student with SOCAPA's broad network of teachers and fellow artists.
My 16 year old son did a three week Socapa film camp in Burlington and had such a great experience. Not only did it give him an idea of what living on a college campus will be like, he also learned so much about filmmaking and his time at camp further fueled his passion. Burlington is a fun and busy town in beautiful Vermont and he loved exploring the area. He also made great friends and they plan on attending SOCAPA in Los Angeles this summer!

My daughter Scarlett attended SOCAPA for the first time last summer and loved it so much that she is attending again this summer. Our son attended SOCAPA in VT in 2023. He left for camp with an interest in film and returned with focus and passion. His time at SOCAPA has shaped his life and helped to solidify his self-awareness as a budding artist. Since his time at camp, he has taken the online Screenwriting Course and continued to hone his talent. My son just signed up for his second summer at SOCAPA VT for core music. My son (high school sophomore) loved Socapa’s two week acting camp in Vermont last summer. He had an amazing experience! He even called us asking if he could stay for a third week! This summer, he signed up for the three week advanced class in Vermont. He loved everything about it, the teachers, the students, the classes. He made several friends who he has stayed in touch with this year. Highly recommend this camp for any teen who enjoys acting.

I sent my teenager (16 years old) to SOCAPA, Manhattan Campus, for the Filmmaking program during the summer of 2021. The program was well organized and very educational. The atmosphere was very welcoming and my child felt secure and safe. My teen learned so much from this experience and will be back during summer 2022. I definitely recommend this program to others looking for a great summer filmmaking program in New York.
My teen had a life-changing experience at SOCAPA NYC in the Music/Songwriting program. Loved the counselors, the classes, and the kids. And came out with an amazing song and video.
My daughter went to the Vermont campus for 3 weeks last summer and had an incredible time. She made really close friends with kids from all over and still has Facetime calls and group chats with them. She was a little nervous leaving home but ended up not in the least bit homesick. She was kept so busy and was having so much fun she forgot about us! The quality of the work that the kids put out is amazing and the amount they learn is so impressive. She also really appreciated the evening activities and free time in Burlington as a chance to have some independence and relaxing time. We are excited she is already signed up to go back next summer and will try acting this time to see how things are on the other side of the camera. I do love that they come home with a portfolio to share. Five stars!
This was my first time going to a sleep away camp. However, it was such a great location, setup, and camp that I never felt homesick. The filmmaking classes were educational and increased my interest in all the behind the scenes of making a movie. It helped me learn how to use the different kinds of tech and see how it all comes together. The evening activities were a ton of fun. I loved being able to explore Burling ton with my friends. I am already signed up to return next summer and try acting camp this time.
Such a great experience for my daughter. We live in a small city so acting lessons are limited outside of school. She camp was everything my daughter wanted. She received daily lessons, on site experience and a great group of friends. She loved everything about this camp. She made great friendships and loved living the independent college lifestyle. We felt she was in a safe environment that allowed her to explore her independence. I highly recommend this camp. We already signed up for next year.

My Daughter Anna dream is to be a writer, director & filmmaker. Finding experiences and training is this area is very challenging. We felt blessed to have been recommended to SOCAPA and attended the 1 week Core Filmmaking Camp in Manhattan in the late summer of 2019 after her sophomore year. It was a fantastic experience for her. The program was very well organized, the teaching was top notch and it was the best of the 4 camps she had attended up until then. She particularly like how they were treated as serious young adults who wanted to really learn filmmaking and not children staying busy during the summer with a "camp" . For this reason I feel like their programs are really closer to an academy experience - staying in dorms, serious teaching , etc. than a camp. It is the only program she wants to attend again - The whole program and the NYC experience was amazing , and excellent value, well supervised. She was all signed up for a 2 week session in 2020 but due to COVID was canceled. This year we are so excited they are back and offering in person sessions. She's over the top excited to go back this summer prior to starting college - she will be attending and we will be investing in a 4 week program. She can not wait!
I went here a little under a year ago and I can’t tell you how amazing it was! I made so many new friends that I keep in touch with still. I had very little acting experience and I didn’t feel left behind at all her bough there were many more people with more experience than I. This place is wonderful and worth every single cent- I highly recommend it!
Our Daughter attended the NYC Manhattan campus 3 week dance conservatory program in the summer of 2019. I was originally nervous at the thought of sending her to the big city for a summer camp, but it became obvious that the program managers and counselors were up to the task of keeping our daughter safe and in a controlled environment. We were able to travel to visit her twice during her program and received regular calls, texts and videos. It was clear to us that she was thoroughly enjoying her program, making lots of new friends, and expanding her dance abilities. It is my hope that she will attend SOCAPA again this coming summer.

My daughter attended SOCAPA's 1 week photography bootcamp this past summer in NYC. She LOVED it. She wanted to go to camp but was not interested in a woodsy environment. She's always been very creative so when I found this camp she jumped at the chance to go. She had never done photography but was able to rent a camera to see if it was something that she would like to explore more. Needless to say, Julia will be getting a camera for Christmas and we just signed her up for a 3 week photography session next summer. She can't wait!! The teachers and all the staff were amazing! I was concerned about her being comfortable in such a big city but I clearly had nothing to worry about. Julia was perfectly safe and supervised at all times. She's excited to learn even more about photography and meet more kids from around the world that share her same interests.

I just did the last session and let me say I'm so glad I did it. It's such an amazing program and I got a lot out of it. I met these amazing people who were also Interested in the same thing I was. It wasn't very hard to get along with everyone. But it's not just friends I made. It's what I got to learn in such an short amount of time. We got amazing instructors, and they were able to teach me so much. I honestly don't think I would have gotten as far with my film if it wasn't from the people surround me as well the the instructor along side with the RAs. I would honestly love to do the 2-3 weeks next year! It's a program you wouldn't want to miss. I would 11/10 recommend it.
I had a fantastic time at socapa photography boot camp! We explored all the great sights in new york city, we went to the botanical gardens, photographed the brooklyn bridge at night, and had great adventures at coney island. I made great friends and memories, that I will remember for years to come!
I did the 2-week core filmmaking program last year in the LA campus, and I had the time of my life! I learned so much from incredible teachers who are actually in the film industry, which is even better that just having amazing teachers because they can give even better advice because of their experiences. I met amazing people who were just as passionate and interested in film as me, which created such an amazing atmosphere, and I still talk to them all the time. I've done other film camps before, but I definitely enjoyed this one the most, because I could tell that both the other kids and the instructors really wanted to be there and get the most out of it that they could. I loved it so much that I'm coming back this summer to do the screenwriting program in Manhattan!

My son attended the SOCAPA Core Filmmaking camp in Los Angeles last summer and learned SO much. He came home even more excited about producing films and honed his skills in writing, editing, shooting, sound and overall production. The staff were very supportive and trustworthy. This summer, he had several choices of film camps to attend and decided that SOCAPA is THE best and only place for him. We are sending him to the NYC program this year and feel confident that SOCAPA is preparing him for a future creating what he loves. Not to mention, preparing him to apply to the competitive University film programs! Three weeks at SOCAPA will provide him with 3 new completed film projects of high caliber for his resume, plus valuable experience working with like-minded and inspiring new friends.
The summers I’ve spent at SOCAPA have been some of the best of my life. Through the teaching of film professionals I was able to learn so much about short movie production with made me confident in my choice to study the subject. The friends I’ve made at SOCAPA are some of the kindest people I know and I know those friendships will last forever. SOCAPA has truly been an amazing experience.
Excellent program! Our daughter learned so much during her time there and made many wonderful connections which continue today. She participated for three summers during high school and was recently accepted to her dream college for film production. This program is well worth the money, and I can not recommend it enough!! My son has been attending SOCAPA since the summer before his 9th grade year and he will be attending again this year going into his senior year. He has gained incredible skills, met life-long friends, and loved every minute of the independence and education he has received.

My 15yr daughter attended the 1 week dance intensive last year. The dancing was incredible and all of the kids became great friends. They mix the different talents up in the rooming assignments, which allows all of the groups to interact. Finally the evening activities really allowed the kids to experience NYC. We have already reserved a spot for the 2019 camp!

I highly recommend going to SOCAPA ! I have been to many programs in order to improve my dancing skills, but I have to say that this camp compares to none when it comes to its professionalism and ability to inspire youths in what they are passionate in. I have gained a lot from going to SOCAPA and I recommend to anyone who is interested in the performing arts to attend this camp.

Had a blast at SOCAPA LA last summer! I had been doing video productions for four years but had never done scripted shorts. SOCAPA's Core Filmmaking taught me a lot about how to write, direct, shoot, and edit short films. I had a lot of fun and made many great friends in the process. All of the staff members in LA were very friendly. The campus ended up feeling like a giant family by the end of the three weeks and I still keep in touch with many of my classmates. Can't wait to do the Advanced Filmmaking course this summer in New York
My daughter attended SOCAPA for their music program last summer. She was so inspired by the experience that she has now taken up playing another instrument! She already played piano, bass guitar, ukulele and sang. Now she has started learning to play guitar as well! She came back from the camp saying, "this was the best experience of my life"! Can't beat that!
My daughter went to core acting in 2018 and loved it. I was amazed when I saw her in the final showcase. Her acting was believable and emotionally charged. She had so much fun while learning a lot, and making very close friends. She'll be back for the advanced course!
My son attended the two week film making camp in Burlington Vermont and he absolutely loved it. He loved his instructors and learned so much. The other campers were great and he really enjoyed making new friends and continues to stay in touch with several of the kids. His experience at the Socapa camp was the best summer camp experience of his life.
My son took one of the filmmaking classes and not only learned a tremendous amount about the end-to-end filmmaking process, but also had a great time with the other students. Additionally, I can not say enough positive things about the staff! They were exceptionally attentive to needs of both the students and the parents. My son will be returning to the camp again next year. I can not recommend SOCPA's programs highly enough.
Our daughter had the best experience at camp in Vermont this summer. She spent two weeks at the film camp writing, directing, helping other kids on their projects and receiving professional guidance from the camp staff. Her confidence in film making has grown exponentially as has her confidence in her SELF. Best summer of my LIFE! I still have friends all over the world from SOCAPA. One of them just visited me in Denmark. I learned so much about photography and it helped me build a giant network of international creatives.
SOCAPA Brooklyn's film program gave me a conceptual foundation I needed. Through incredible staff, friends and educators who I have stayed in contact with since, I have continued to grow as a filmmaker. The piece I made at SOCAPA (and couldn't have made without) has been to Vidcon, All American High School Film Festival, NFFTY and more, winning several awards along the way. There's no question that it's quite an expensive program, but it helped me decide on my future career and helped me pushed forward as an artist when I didn't know how to get going.
Tomorrow, I'll be getting up at 6 to go shoot a fellow SOCAPA camper's project. The opportunities the camp afforded me have been incredible.
My daughter had an amazing two weeks in Vermont learning advanced photography. The setting was perfect and the curriculum very well organized and taught. She brought back a portfolio that reflected the new skills and concepts she had learned. I highly recommend this camp.
My daughter attended this camp in Vermont last summer and had a great experience. She did music and was able to spend hours in the studio recording an original song. She made lots of friends -the environment was supportive, nurturing and collegial; not competitive. It gave her room to grow and she’s going back this summer.

I did the 3 week core film program for 3 weeks and it was the best 3 weeks of my life. I learned so much about writing, directing and editing and I also built life long relationships with some of my peers. The staff are all so nice, fun, and helpful. Overall, going to Socapa was the best decision I have ever made.

I had a single dorm at Socapa taking the acting course. Everything about the camp was great. Good social life, good schedule, and, to be honest, everything was what I expected and more. I would definitely come again.
I went to the camp in the summer of 2024, It was really good. I had a really fun time writing and sharing idea's with my friends, watching other's films and my own once it was completed. Despite the camp being mainly focused on film the best part is the social aspect. All the counselors were nice and helpful, also it was fun connecting with other kids and dont forget the different expirences you can sign up for. Escape rooms, beaches and parks. Overall the filming process and watching it was satisfying, but the socializing aspect was truly the best part of the camp.
My daughter (14 at the time) went to LA from NJ for this camp for three weeks last summer and loved it. She did the film camp and the things that she was exposed to were amazing. The films she made, remarkable. She’s going back to the advanced camp this summer - and attending their winter program in NYC starting next week. Great program!
SOCAPA NYC’s music program was an unforgettable experience! I learned so much about songwriting and performing, while also meeting amazing new friends who shared my passion for music. The staff were super supportive and made the whole experience fun, creative, and inspiring.
My child did the 3 week core music program in NYC and had a wonderful experience. The dorms were great, the staff were warm and friendly. He enjoyed the recording process, made a lot of new friends and had so much fun experiencing the city in a new way.
The teachers are so great and all the students are so fun to work with! I've gone to SOCAPA Vermont two years now for filmmaking and each time its the highlight of my summer!
My daughter had a great experience at this camp. The Los Angeles location was in a beautiful neighborhood and the campus was gorgeous. The structure for the class time and activities was put together perfectly. She is now going to be graduating high school and looking forward to attending advanced classes at the New York location.
My son chose SOCAPA as his first film program. He raved about the experience and teachers, and puts what he learned to work during the school year. Looking forward to next summer already!

My 16 yr old daughter was so excited all school year to attend the camp, and then COVID struck and the camp was cancelled, but luckily SOCAPA folks regrouped and offered an online version which she attended. She absolutely loved the experience and what I saw of the course and professionalism of the staff impressed me. My niece attended a 2019 summer session specializing in photography. I had the privilege to attend the closing show and was absolutely blown away by what these kids were able to put together in a week. The information she came home with, the memories she made and the friendships she acquired will be with her for the rest of her life. That was her first year and as soon as she could sign up for a 2020 session she did... only this time, instead of a week, she'll go for three. I can't say enough about what SOCAPA did for her.

My Daughter went last year for the 2 week Core Acting Intensive, the first time she was ever away from home. We were ready for the rescue call, or even a homesick call home. However, that call never came! She was having so much fun and making the best friends that she barely had a minute to even call and say goodnight! She is still talking about " the time of her life", we have already signed her up for next summer!
My daughter attended the 1 week photography bootcamp this past summer. She has always been very creative but wanted to give photography a whirl. She loved everything about this camp. She loved exploring NYC. Taking pictures in all of the different locations throughout NYC gave her a true appreciation for city living. My daughter has suffered from anxiety for many years now. This camp did wonders for her anxiety. She made friends pretty much right away, learned about the camera and how to take pictures, and fell more in love with NYC. Her self confidence is soaring now after attending this camp. We would highly recommend SOCAPA to anyone looking for a unique, fun, creative camp.

My daughter spent two weeks in Brooklyn for the photography camp. Teachers were knowledgeable and engaging. They took a very personal approach with her and in developing her talent. She was able to enjoy the city and all the activities under the supervision of caring counselors that made it all that much fun. She will be back this summer for the three week advance in Manhattan!
I went to SOCAPA last summer, and I will be returning again this year. The experience I had last year was unbelievable, it revealed in me a real passion for film. In the Filmmaking course I took, I was surrounded with smart students, friends, and teachers. This allowed me to make three films in three weeks, and each got more powerful than the previous one, while at the same time being all very different. I recommend SOCAPA to anyone who wants an enlightening experience.
Absolutely LOVE this program. Teachers are so involved and enthusiastic. Learning in this environment an amazing experience.
My daughter loved her time at SOCAPA last summer and is returning this year. The quality of teaching is excellent, and she went to so many fun, interesting, photogenic spots to learn the fundamentals of photography.
I went to Socapa as young as I could and had a great time. The food is great and occidental college has a great cafeteria. The evening activities were great and came with a lot of freedom to walk around with friends. The classes were very fun and have a bunch of good tips and tricks as well as choreography in them. I definitely recommend Socapa to everyone, it is very inclusive and an overall great experience
My 13 year old son grew tremendously as an actor in a short amount of time. His teachers were incredibly inspiring and before the session was over, he was begging to return next summer.

I attended SOCAPA 2018 in Los Angeles in August. I went in not having confidence and had no idea what I wanted to do musically. I met so many new and amazing friends at SOCAPA, and it was so life-changing. I want to thank the SOCAPA counselors and I know I'm definitely going next year!!!?
I had a wonderful experience in the acting boot camp! The instructors were wonderful, the food and dorms were outstanding! the staff really connected with the students- can’t wait to go back next year!
My daughter loves her time at SOCAPA! She will be going for her third year of film in 2019, and is so thrilled to go back to Burlington. With no film program locally to speak of, SOCAPA's faculty and program offer something really special, she has made work she is proud of and excited about. I recommend this for anyone interested in a complete, fun, immersive and amazing experience!

My daughter was so inspired by this music camp that she began playing another instrument -- in addition to piano, bass guitar, ukulele, and singing -- she started playing guitar! She came home from camp saying, "this was the best experience of my life!" Can't beat that!

This has been transformative for my son, Dylan, who is 13 years old, and wants to be a movie director. He did one week in 2018 and was so sad to see it end, so he is doing 2-3 weeks in 2019 !
Such an amazing experience, best summer of my life by far. Everyone is extremely talented and share a common passion for the arts that is hard to find in an everyday environment. Highly recommend!

My 14-year-old daughter attended SOCAPA and she absolutely loved it! I only heard positive things about her experience. She came home with a new sense of self, new friends and a new energy for her passions.

My 13 year old attended the two week acting program at SOCAPA Los Angeles. I was incredibly impressed with what the kids produced in that amount of time. He was extremely busy "working" and learning during the days and having fun with new friends and program counselors in the evenings. From the written feedback given to me at the end of the program, it was clear that the teachers got to know my son very well and identified his strengths. It was a serious acting program in which a tremendous amount of teaching and work occurred in a short amount of time. Before we even left campus, my son was begging for my promise that he could return next year.
My son loved the core film making camp and is so excited to attend the advanced program this summer! I highly recommend this camp.

I had such an awesome at time at SOCAPA. It was great to be surrounded by so many amazing people who shared my passion for acting. At first I was a bit unsure as I'm not a particularly social person but the moment I arrived all my doubts vanished. I highly recommend it to everyone. I learned so much from the experience and it was easily one of the highlights of my summer.
I was so lucky to be able to attend this camp in the summer of 2016. It was an experience that was truly indescribable. They take students that are at all different places in their craft and work with us to help us all become better in the art. I went for the songwriting three week program, and the people I met and worked with are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Students get to meet people from all over the world, from all different backgrounds, and that love doing all different forms of the arts.
SOCAPA Mountain Camp is an amazing experience! I had a blast progressing my riding and making an awesome edit! By far the best camp I have ever done, I will definitely be coming back!
Our son attended the acting session at Champlain College and it was a transformational experience for him... he found his clan and passion and it has guided his high school experience.
This Camp exceeded our expectations. My daughter learned so much in 3 weeks. The staff, teachers and campers made it an experience of a life time. So glad she chose Burlington, Vermont as her destination - the perfect place to film. We highly recommend Socapa - it will motivate young teens who want to perfect their craft.
Ended up doing Acting, Photography and Music prpgrams in Vermont, NYC and Costa Rica with SOCAPA and they were undeniably the best weeks of my summers/winter breaks!
I've been at SOCAPAVT for 2 years, my first year I was a one weeker and my second year I was a two weeker. I loved every second of both years and can't wait to go back. Champlain College is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The laughs are never ending and the memories last a lifetime.

My daughter just got home from 3 weeks at the Manhattan campus. She had a fantastic experience and made great friends. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the experience.
I attended this past summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
There are not words to describe this program. I went first two years ago; the summer was great, the people were amazing, and the food was sooooo good. Two years ago I went to Saint Johnsbury, but that does not nearly compare with the summer I had this past year in Burlington. The people were absolutely amazing; there was always support and I had never laughed so much in my life. The rooms are beautiful each person has a bed, a desk, and burue; in some rooms eveveryone has a closet as well. Though in Burlington there is not a pool on campus, the lake is frequently visited, and the gym is open to all students. Micheal Kaplan is one of the most gifted teachers I have ever met. I don't think anyone in both my years did not improve immensely even just through two weeks of work. The class is boiled down into two (or three) weeks of what a freshman in college would experience in one year. Every actor is apart of at least six movies (some up to ten depending on how many actors and filmmakers there are). Also each actor works on a monologue which they perform at the final showcase. In addition each actor and dancer walks away with headshots shot and edited by the very talented photographers. Though I was not apart of the dance program, it was very clear that they were working very hard, they learned I believe four dances in two weeks, some choreographed by the students and some by the dance teacher. I would have to say hearing from my friends that the photography program was better in Burlington then it was in Saint J, just from how much more students seemed to do in Burlington. Filmmaking has got to be the most complicated stressful course at the camp. In the first week, the students have to learn how to use Final Cut Pro, they need to write a script, learn how to opporate the boom and camera, and they need to be directors to the acting students, and they need to edit their films. I would definatly bring a computer no matter what program you're in but especially the film students. Each filmmaker creates three projects. One is a one scene shot, then they get into making movies that people more regularly see in movies, then they create an even longer version of that one. All of the programs are fantastic and all of them offer college credit if you are over a certain age. The food is fantastic, there is a lot of diversity, and there's always ice cream. The teachers are funny, young, and super sweet. The friends I made there are some of the best friends I have, I talk to them most everyday. I can't imagine a better place to spend my summer. No other program can compare. I miss SOCAPA everyday, and I can't wait to go back next year.-Debbie

My daughter attended the Film program (Summer of 2019) and she LOVED it so much that we already signed up for Summer of 2020.
It was so much fun. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in acting as I did the acting program. The location is great and the people you meet along the way are also great.
I went to SOCAPA for film and I thought it was a great program for those who really have a passion for film. I was able to learn many important things including how to edit using Premiere what the lingo is for directing and how to use a camera. During the camp I made three films from start to finish which was a great learning experience. I started by writing a script, then I directed group of people in making the film, and finally I edited the final part. SOCAPA was a great experience.
SOCAPA was an amazing experience and I would even say it is the best programs I have gone to in order to further my dancing skills. I highly recommend going!
I loved my experience here. My acting teacher, the fun trips, the people I met from all over, and so much more. I wasn’t expecting all of this. I want to go again!
I experienced a lot from SOCAPA last summer. It is something that I have decided would be a good place to come back to this coming summer. Something that I would have changed about my experience last summer, is that I was not put into many scenes in our movies that we made so I did not have as much screen time as I should have had. Other than that, the acting experience there was pretty straight forward and our instructors were amazing. They knew what they were doing and I felt very free at this camp.
