Madison Tinder is an Actor, Singer and Dancer with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance from Otterbein University. Madison also attended the North East School of the Arts Performing Arts magnate High School in San Antonio where she double majored in Musical Theatre and Dance. She comes from a family of professional performers so her passion for the arts is as much a part of her as is breathing. This past year has been a wonderful whirlwind! After finishing the "Disenchanted" North American Tour where she was the swing and went on numerous times for Snow White, eventually being bumped up to Little Mermaid/Belle/Rapunzel, she booked one of her ultimate dream roles and shows, "A Chorus Line", directed by Baayork Lee, where she has been playing Cassie since December! She also had previously been in the China Tour of "My Fair Lady" as a Busker, Maid, and member of the ensemble. She’s participated in numerous Master Classes and Intensives with some amazing directors, choreographers and performers including Randy Skinner, Debra Bird, Dan Knechtges, and Dee Hoty. Madison moved to NYC in December of 2014.

Acting Keys for the Self Tape Audition:
The world has changed dramatically over the course of this year, and auditioning in today’s industry is no exception. What hasn’t changed, however, is the necessity of acting grounded in truth, capable of reaching the audience and casting team whether they are in the same room as you, through a zoom audition, or a self tape. Through this class, we will learn how to create a character that reads no matter the medium, with a focus on what is auditioning and working now. We will explore the keys to creating a successful audition in today’s entertainment industry through our own self tapes, scene work, monologue work, and allowing yourself the freedom to create brave characters that will get you from the self tape to the callback while making lasting connections and wonderful friendships.
