Sofia Sanchez is originally from San José, Costa Rica, and obtained a UVT (Costa Rican Degree) in arts focused on Ballet and Modern. Sofia moved to NY to start an international program in Broadway Dance Center, where she trained in contemporary, jazz, latin, ballet and street styles. Sofia has worked as an assistant and dancer at The Pulse, Dance Teacher Summit, Six Flags Great Adventure, as well as the BDC. After concluding her program, Sofia went back to Costa Rica to work as a teacher and choreographer in Danceworks Costa Rica. She was recently selected to be part of Young Choreographers Festival 2016 and multiple Peridance Showcases.
