Season 2 of Nudes, The Italian TV Series Written by SOCAPA Alum Giulio Fabroni, Premieres at Rome Film Festival
After gaining more than a million domestic views on Disney Plus and on the Italian
streaming platform RaiPlay, Nudes is back for season two. The first season of the award-
winning Italian anthology series on revenge porn, released in 2021, was adapted from a
Norwegian teen drama show of the same name. The second season is composed by three
original stories, with stories and screenplays written by SOCAPA alumn Giulio Fabroni
along with Emanuela Canonico, Valerio D’Annunzio and Vanessa Picciarelli.
The nine episodes of the series follow three stand-alone stories, each based on two
characters: Silvia and Emilio (played by Emma Valenti and Michele Rosiello), Luca and
Giacomo (Fortunato Cerlino and Lorenzo Sarcinelli), Michela and Francesca (Lucia
Mascino and Sveva Alviti). Every story shows how revenge porn can affect adult victims as
well as teenagers.
The three episodes dedicated to Silvia and Emilio, directed by Laura Luchetti and written
by Giulio Fabroni and Valerio D’Annunzio, will debut on Tuesday, October 22 as part of
Alice nella citt?, a prestigious international parallel section of the Rome Film Fest.
After attending a screenwriting program at SOCAPA, Giulio Fabroni has graduated from
Scuola Holden, and was selected in renowned programs such as the Rai Fiction Master in
Serial Screenwriting and TFL SeriesLab Talents. Spanning from fiction to documentary and from literature to animation,
Fabroni has gone on to work on national and international projects like Nudes and Spooky
Wolf, and is now working on his feature film debut as a writer-director.
