Description
The silent short film "louder Than Words" shows the reality of testing anxiety, how distracting it is; how scary. This short follows a girl taking the ACT, it shows her anxious tics/coping mechanisms-one of which is not so healthy (no spoilers) the main character ends up having one of her coping mechanisms "taken" from her by the test monitor/teacher and begins to descend into a panic attack, BUT then ends up focusing on a calming, steady ticking clock in the testing room; that quiets (almost) all the other overstimulating noises in her head/irl. A journey from panic, to a little less panic; allowing her to follow through on her important test.
