New York City
"The Greatest City on Earth."

Explore New York City with SOCAPA Photography! With it's impressive skyline, dazzling lights, and nonstop energy, New York City is the world's leading metropolis for art, fashion, food and theater. NYC's unparalleled art scene offers world class exhibits at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim or rising new talent at niche galleries in the Lower East Side and Chelsea. NYC boasts over 23,000 restaurants in five distinct boroughs; and whether you’re on the hunt for prime vintage, cheap threads or avant-garde designer merchandise, shopping in NYC never disappoints.

With so much to see, choosing what to do is the toughest part!

Main Attractions

We take trips almost daily, and sometimes more, to see the many different attractions of NYC. Example day trips include Central Park, Chinatown, The MET, the Statue of Liberty, Coney Island and the Highline. We also travel in style via the cities new ferry system to explore some of the hippest new neighborhoods in Brooklyn like Williamsberg, DUMBO and Greenpoint. We'll also visit famous eateries in Time Square or duck into small galleries in Chelsea to meet some of today’s emerging artists.

iPhone / Mobile Photography?

While we recommend a DSLR camera for it's tactile manual control and unmatched image quality when shooting Raw, the value of a photograph is determined by it's subject and the photographer’s creative vision - not the device used to capture it. So, in this on-the-go, connected world, knowing how to shoot with what's in your pocket can help you never miss a the moment!

So, whether you decide to attend SOCAPA with a DSLR, rent one from us, or just bring your phone - we're there to help you get the most out of your device and bring your creative vision to reality.
