Our pilot year of the Film Production Lab in Burlington was awesome--now we're expanding!
This new film program centers on creating a highly polished group project, allowing students to share the roles of camera operator, sound technician, producer, director, editor, and more--or to specialize in one production element! While collaborating with classmates on their film, students in Production Lab learn valuable lessons in script work-shopping, preproduction, casting and auditions, shot listing and location scouting; technical skills from camera to sound, as well as post-production editing, sound design and color-grading.
If you've taken our Core Film course but would like more experience before our Advanced Film course, this could be the right fit for you! If you love filmmaking but aren't ready to write your own script, this course can give you hands-on learning opportunities in a supportive, collaborative project.
