SOCAPA is partnering with Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury, VT to launch a 48-Hour Film Slam from April 1st through April 3rd! Teams of 3-5 film slammers are challenged to write, direct, edit, and premiere an original film in 48 hours to compete for up to $1000 in cash prizes. Middle school and high school film students can also enroll in SOCAPA's free 48-Hour Film Workshop, where SOCAPA film instructors will provide guidance on basic filmmaking story development and equipment use. Students in the workshop may also borrow a SOCAPA production kit--there's no need to bring your own equipment!
